Here’s an old drawing from 1991(!) that I did of Siskel and Ebert as Roman emperors, whose thumbs up or down decided the fate of all those in their realm.
This is one of a three-part series I directed for the blr/further ad agency in Birmingham. The 15 second spots are for Progress West Healthcare. This one shows the doctor’s connection to their St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I had lots of help on this from animators Chris McMurray and Joanna Davidovich, illustrators Trevor Irvin and Mike Schultze , and After/Effects wizard Rob Fearon.

This is a collaboration I did with Gavin Holmes at povmotionmedia.com. I did the design and storyboards, Gavin knocked out the animation and all the compositing. We did the project for Atlanta agency Sapient/Nitro.
This was from an ASIFA figure drawing session at Studio Outpost March 1st, 2012 in East Atlanta- before we were forced to move our class once again. This was taken for Audrey Jones, who runs an art program in Haiti. That’s her drawing at the beginning, and our lovely model Megan. Lots of talent here, including Jason who you see at 2:30 adding some gruesome details…
I can finally post this animation I did for Michael Koepenic’s awesome documentary on Bruce Hampton called “Basically Frightened”. He let me do whatever I wanted, so here it is!
I had a blast creating on artwork and animation for Michael Koepenic’s awesome documentary on the legendary Bruce Hampton.

I also got to draw some pictures of another personal hero, Frank Zappa!!
Come on out to the Plaza tonight at 9:30 and see for yourself. It’s a great documentary about one of Atlanta’s living legends!!
